I liked it. Very plain-spoken down-to-earth writing advice. Basically just sets up the maxim "read and write every single day" and then tells you about how he's followed that maxim for the past 40 years.

You're not going to get any groundbreaking insight into the craft, but it's still pretty inspiring to read about when he sold Carrie for $10,000 back in the 70s.

King's best book by far. Good, practical advice with helpful metaphors and real-life examples that illustrate his points. Occasional personal anecdotes that are better written than most of his fiction. A decent reading list.
