i got fahrenheit 451 recently as well, but i got the 60th anniversary edition. somehow i wasnt required to read it in high school. after i finish that i'll move onto 1984, another book i somehow avoided in high school.
F451 is the worst book I have ever read.

Is it good? I don't remember the last time I read a science fiction. Maybe in grade school. The Giver I think was the last one I read nearly a decade ago.

The second one is kind of okay. I didn't finish the third. The Bean "spinoff" series is kind of interesting as well, kind of. I saw a Gene Wolfe blurb on the cover of some random Card novel and I didn't get it because Card is a pretty mediocre writer.
