Anyone know anything about helena blavatsky? I have a signed copy of one of her books and dont know what to do with it
Wow, if that's legit, yes, it could be worth something. Be careful with it. She's a figure of major historical and intellectual interest - she was the founder of the Theosophical Society which was a large current of thought in the European fin de siecle milieu. Attracted a lot of figures and had a wide reach through its aftershocks and breakaways. I think Yeats was very briefly a member, to give an example. Guenon was a breakaway, as were Anthroposophy and Perennialism to certain extents. There would be a lot of people interested in Blavatsky material and I don't doubt there's both academic scholarship on her and "amateur esoteric" collectors out there.
Thats some pretty specific info, are you as familiar with antique books as you seem? Because im part of a very poor family and would really like to call the right people to sell it to

Yes, jesus christ OP.
She's one of the most important figures in the so called New Age movement. The nearest Theosophical Society will be highly interested.

just have it appraised. it's probably a fake.
Do you want to buy it from me? It would take soooo long to get them to call me back
I'd suggest you find a specialist bookstore or put it up for auction (ebay maybe?). If it's authentic, it could be worth thousands.
Any more tips? Im young and dont know my way around the world or anything important
