Nescio - Amsterdam Stories

Recently read this and found it super comfy; some of the best descriptions of nature and early 20th century city life I've read. Simple stories about youthful ambition, hanging out with bros, love, contrasted with the permanence of the natural world. Will likely make you really nostalgic in a good way
