It is nice to see how he wrote something light to read but also included something to ponder too.

Like : " We pass through the present with our eyes blindfolded. We are permitted merely to sense and guess at what we are actually experiencing. Only later when the cloth is untied can we glance at the past and find out what we have experienced and what meaning it has."

i've read just about everything she wrote, but even so i cringe whenever she has a white male character either sexually abuse a woman or just beat her up. pretty sure that isn't how subtexts work.
