How to come up with a good pseudonym?
Think about it for ten minutes
you just need a good adjective/adverb/??? for your first name, and then any combination of adjective + noun for your surname. then you tack on a degree or some shit at the end to make it sound more impressive

what's your psuedname?

Take middle initial, make it first initial. Take first initial and make it middle initial. Somehow change your last name so that it's similar but different.
>John Gregory Thompson
G J Tombs
>Mary-Lynn McArthur
L M McAndrews
>Timothy Gander
Tim Grant
(Mix things up a bit if you don't have a middle name)
Ultimately, if the day comes where you decide to let your readers know your real name, I think it would be best if your pseudonym/pen name wasn't COMPLETELY made up.

I like to think of pseudonyms every time I kinda start to form a story.
What sort of person would right this?
Even with two initials followed by a lastname I like to make something 'meaningful'/funny/ironic/edgy etc. With the full name.

Might make them feel like even though they didn't know your real name, it was still you. You didn't try to completely hide yourself from them, but merely make yourself a little more vague. As for that Isabella, I'm kinda guessing she made herself a male pseudonym to try and improve sales. I hear that J K Rowling also tried to make her gender anonymous with Harry Potter because she feared that a female name might not garner as many readers.
There's a few different reasons why you might use a pen name, but I just think that in general it would be good to use one that's SIMILAR to your real name. Of course it's fine if you don't, I'm merely sharing my point of view. I'm not about to argue for or against.

Ah, I see. Makes sense. I would go for the most flashy name though, a name that grabs their attention.
