Hello /lit/. I wanted to start reading some greek philosophers but don't know where to start. I prefer practical philosophical books. Which books would you recommend to a newbie?

start with (pic related) the texts of early greek philosophy. You can find both volumes free at http://gen.lib.rus.ec

Start with the best, then read the rest.

Pro-tip: you may or may not want to skip over the commentary after each section considering the pdf is somewhat hard to scroll around when referencing a particular section of the book.

Nicomachean Ethics for a newbie ? Come on...
Presocratics for a guy who's looking for "practical philosophy books" ? Oh god...
OP could you elaborate on what you mean by "practical" ? I'm not too sure about that (it's only clear that you wouldn't find it in the Presocratics).
Btw, "What is Ancient Philosophy?" by Pierre Hadot is the best introduction aimed at a newbie and focused on practical philosophy.
