It's grand took me a month and a half while reading four other books alongside it. It's good it will never be discussed here tho because people don't care about its content
>>
The first part took ages to read. The second I finished in a few days. The third was about three weeks, most of which I spent deciphering the goddamn Lucia Joyce chapter.

Bloody good books in the end. Of course only about three people here will have actually read them/it/whatever.

It's gonna be hard to get strong opinions here. /lit/ needs some years to pass, so a consensus compiles and /lit/ can decide whether it likes it or not.

Actually great, clearly long-winded and the first of three books is rough but it can still be enjoyable if you read for the right reasons

any required/recommended reading first?
>>

No, you can just look up the occasional landmarks or cultural references while reading if you're interested.
>>
I enjoyed it a lot. The fantasy spiritual stuff, the experimental chapters, the slice-of-life and stream-of-consciousness stories, the art show at the end, the theological exposition, the adventure. It was very much worthwhile, and I'd definitely recommend it
>>
I live 10 miles from Northampton. Will I get something from this?
>>
reliable sources have told me it's absolute shit

If you know the layout of the town itself you might
