It's grand took me a month and a half while reading four other books alongside it. It's good it will never be discussed here tho because people don't care about its content
The first part took ages to read. The second I finished in a few days. The third was about three weeks, most of which I spent deciphering the goddamn Lucia Joyce chapter.
Bloody good books in the end. Of course only about three people here will have actually read them/it/whatever.
It's gonna be hard to get strong opinions here. /lit/ needs some years to pass, so a consensus compiles and /lit/ can decide whether it likes it or not.

No, you can just look up the occasional landmarks or cultural references while reading if you're interested.
I enjoyed it a lot. The fantasy spiritual stuff, the experimental chapters, the slice-of-life and stream-of-consciousness stories, the art show at the end, the theological exposition, the adventure. It was very much worthwhile, and I'd definitely recommend it
