The Iliad is so much better than The Odyssey that it is indeed a bit hard for me to imagine that they were the product of the same mind (or group of minds)

This is how I read it, would recommend

3) Less moralizing... The Iliad presents its protagonists as fuck-ups, whereas The Odyssey sort of tries to force an "Odysseus is a good guy" interpretation even though he is really also a fuck-up
