I was under the impression that it was a pretty unique work of surrealistic poetic art. I'm not sure what you'd compare it to, or if you're just hostile towards the style altogether. I mean, do you just think that the whole concept sucks or do you think that he was a poser who is trumped by better artists? I certainly can't imagine it gets any more legit than lautreamont.
