Any books by Zizek worth a read?
None of his books are worth to read. But he will remain popular anyway - whatever I say.
He is a likeable and funny man I'll give him that.

Have you even read any of them?

Has anyone?
I've only read First as Tragedy, Then as Farce. It's okay. I'm not a Marxist so I guess it's not really my cup of tea. His writing style is quite erratic and (at least in that book) does not flow so well. Some interesting ideas here and there though, I would not dismiss it entirely.
i will never read this guy because hes too associated with a bad memory
called him "zai-zek" in lit theory class while owning the prof & he smirked, corrected me, and said "no continue"
had to drop

Not for me, I felt cheated afterwards, I am too /sci/ and /his/ for him.
It started with videos and after that I read that book and watched his two movies.
Before him I enjoyed reading psychology, and psychoanalysis is considered debunked in that field. So afterwards when I realized he uses psychoanalysis for his philosophy and having learned not much at all I have considered him more or less a charlatan, a funny and likeable one.
This was before I even went on 4chan, I am fairly new here.

So there was a time I was very much interested in him. But I have become anti-Zizekian afterwards.

Fair enough thanks anyway dood

You could consider reading him anyway if you wanted to and come to your own conclusions. Not sure if I should try to persuade others from not reading him.

Wait how is it pronounced then?
