Got into an MFA program. What should I read or know before I start in the fall?
Thanks.

What does it take to surpass pseudointellectualism and enter the realm of intellectualism?
Besides starting with the Greeks of course
You're becoming the Chad of /lit/. MFA s are for those that have never truly suffered. You might produce a book or two to but they will quickly be forgotten. Nothing you make will stand the test of Time. Call me bitter but I am merely stating the truth. MFA programs are essentially the result of capitalism's arm . Pay enough to get what you want and you'll achieve it (mfas are notorious for being impossible to fail). Scholarships and what not are subsidized from that manner as well. Either way you are simply paying for an identity. This will trigger many but I bet you come from household that makes easily 60,k+ a year. You are what's wrong with literature
