i've read probably 40 novels by clive cussler, and about the same amount of star wars extended universe novels, except i read them 4-5 times each. i read the star wars novels when i was a kid, and started reading clive cussler about two years ago. i've read about 20 books by dean koontz, almost all of steven kings books.

there's nothing wrong with having a formula and writing to it.
