Say something nice to the best pre-socratic /lit/.
Being and Thought are the same.
I would if moving my fingers were possible.
>>9273735
Why it's not possible?
>>9273741
I would first have to move them half the way then quarter of the way then ...
>>9273760
I think you got the wrong philosopher mate...
>>9273764
I did not. I was merely explaining why I'm not giving compliments to Mr. P.
Is he the one who invented premature ejaculation ?
>>9273764
Zeno was his disciple tho, and his paradoxes were an elaboration of P's ideas
>>9273806
*i don't know if he was actually his disciple but that's the story anyway
>>9273794

I find it pretty funny how Plato and Aristotle's attempted challenges to eleatic monism either skirt the question (such as Plato's reduction of that-which-is-not to a question of relations as opposed to dealing with it as its own thing) or fall into the intellectual trap (Aristotle acknowledging that potential infinity is infinitely divisible and in some sense must be crossed when initiating motion).
>>9273858
haha /lit/ got jokes today
>>9273862
Congrats.
>>9274532
Post this to /r/4chan.
>>9273732
>Nothing can change because it would involve something adopting a new character with the old character being destroyed, which would involve the old character not-being, and not-being by definition is nothing and does not exist
