I haven't read it yet. It's on my shelf but I'm still battling through the tower.
I hear it's a far cry from his usual fare, a detective work instead of sci-fi/horror.

I really, really liked The Stand.
I've read the first 3 books in The Dark Tower series and The Wastelands was really good.

Its quite comfy
Joyland is the only Stephen King novel I've read and I could only pinpoint the purpose of it as a time occupier and a money maker, it wasn't even particularly entertaining aside from when the protagonist fucked that sexy milf

There are some standout stories in Everything is Eventual.

Decent story. Not really memorable though. My favorites are Misery, The Shining, Under the Dome, 11/22/63, and Desperation.
