I was able to read the second one, Messiah, but the 3rd one already was unbearably boring.

First 3 AT MOST is all I can really suggest.
4 if you're really into it.
You'd be fine with just reading the first two, though.

Dune and Dune Messsiah are the best imo.

Reading the second one atm. Not bad so far.

The first four tell a complete story from what I've heard, so I'll probably end up reading at least that far.
