I'm a /his/ and /sci/ blend so what I've read is "the dictators handbook", "predisposed", "our political nature" and "the righteous mind".
They are political science with the second and third using an evolutionary perspective and the last one a psychological perspective.

Hegel's Reason in History isn't bad. Pretty short and relatively readable, gives an overview of the dialectical development of the World Spirit and how that gives rise to history.

Das kapital is more a philosphy it doesn't have any economican principles. To get into Marxist economics you have to read Karl Kautsy.

Unfortunately Marxism already has been disproven Theoretically by his value theory and law of the tendency of the rate of profit to fall.
