Man, I've got such conflicting feelings about that book; on the one hand, Walsh's arguments weren't that great, as he didn't try to definitively prove his case in an analytical style, but on the other, he's one of the very few erudite people who actually criticizes the leftist BS in universities.

The pic related/Scruton's other works (uses of pessimism) offer a lot more IMO. Maybe C. H. Sommers and C. Paglia too, but I'm not a real fan of either.
