>Wrote a book

Anyone ever do this?

I realized my writing was shit long before I finished my book. So I'm not sure which of us is better off.
>Don't write a boot
>It's a masterpiece
Anyone ever do this?

i have done this a couple of times for nanowrimo but it was good practice.
maybe get some of the theory down before writing a whole book

Many times.
Learn the theory, work out why its shit, then edit your shit.
Realise its still shit, then get your parents' publishing company to publish your steaming pile anyway.
It's called learning. One day you just might write a book that isn't shit.

If you make it through writing an entire book before you realize it's shit, there's probably no helping you.

same here. I jumped in with just a fragment of an idea, pushed myself to develop a novel out of thin air, ended up with a POS.
But yeah, I guess it was good practice. Any writing, even shit writing, is better than not writing at all.

good writing is just good thinking, transcribed.
