Why didn't he like Feuerbach? Weren't they both atheists in some common sense at least? Granted, so was Marx...

Saint Max wasn't an atheist. He was God.

did someone bang stirners wife?
>>9252382
Yeah. They didn't exactly have a loving marriage, which if ironic given his whole egoistic-union thing. The fact he even married is strange.
Some people say he did it for her inheritance, but that reeks of apologia to me.

Wikipedia, the book's introduction, faggot's on /lit/ and /leftypol/.
I didn't get the impression that Max Stirner lived his philosophy from his biography, especially any superficial interpretation of "egoism". It just seems like he's someone with a bright, curious mind who had a tough, harsh life. His efforts to go into academia were constantly thwarted by his need to take care of his ailing mother. His marriage was loveless and short-lived. He was always in poor health. I think he lived long enough to recognize most of the social tropes were simply garbage and wanted to start over from the individual instead of a systemic ideology. Jaded but insightful—a less productive Nieztsche but equally unique.
