I was watching interviews with those famous writers (George R R Martin, Stephenie Meyer, E L James, Stephen King and etc) and i noticed that they all have something in commom, they all write about what they like and in the way they like. No formulas, guides, advices or this sort of thing, they all writed what they think was good and above it, what they like, and it ended up pretty well to they.
So, this is the "secret"?

>follows strict formulas and archetypes
>content evolves with time to better pander to their specific commercial audience
>oh, I'm just writing about what I like!11!!
yeah I bet
>No formulas, guides, advices or this sort of thing
nah Stephen King has a strict schedule of writing 2000 words a day
GRRM is influenced by his time in Hollywood and is a believer in show don't tell

william vollman is really starting to get the hang of this
Tell that to the the ones who took the same advice and never found and audience, much less were even published
Writers aren't gonna go into detail about their writing process in an interview kek
And I'm sorry but no, especially in the case of the authors you mentioned. They write stories to appeal to a wide audience and sell well. I mean, George R. R. Martin blatantly hates A Song of Ice and Fire, the only reason he hasn't flat out dropped the series is because fans will probably murder him

>Stephanie Meyer
She wasn't the first person to realize that teenage girls will buy anything that's marketed to them.
