Is there a book that you've found to be better in one edition than the other?
Maybe the cover appeals to you, or it's a hardback with a really good binding, or you really like the ones with the ribbon in the spine for a bookmark.
Maybe it has a different foreword from a different printing, or this one comes with annotations.
Or maybe you prefer separate volumes that you can carry in a pocket rather than an Omnibus.

actually yes
i have the folio society edition of the sound and the fury
it's printed with the text in different colours for the different timeline fragments
apparently this is what faulkner wanted but printing technology wasn't up to it at the time
anyway it makes the book a lot more readable

>£60.00 for colored words
This is retarded

Are there cheap versions with this print?

An overpriced book is overpriced. That has nothing to do with my job (which I can't have because I'm currently getting education).

A few. I have a very nice edition of The Once and Future King. I paid 15 bucks for it at a second hand shop (it's in pristine condition) which is about 13 dollars more than I usually pay for a book, but it just looked so nice.
On the other hand, this version of A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court was so fucking hideous, it nearly turned me off Twain forever. To this day, I still haven't managed to read it. It was fucking unbearable.
