I've always thought of meditation as a stillness in the mind, not so much talking to yourself as not talking at all.

I wonder though; when thought goes silent, the mind goes still. Awareness remains alone?

meditation is the end of all neurosis by silencing our human tendency to frame everything thru language; by silence we gain perspective as we give up te the stupidity of the shindy

What do we hope to gain perspective on through meditation?

Is it not to shed the meaningless(ness) around yourself and gain a higher sense of awareness?

Convince me we're not talking about two means to the same end.

Prayer comes from heart
Meditation comes from the will
