Do people on /lit/ have opinions about this guy?
I found his non fiction / autobiographical stuff to be interesting. Namely Prometheus Rising and Cosmic Trigger. The trans-humanism and space colonization stuff didn't age well but his commentary on psychology, consciousness, psychedelics, and mind-programming/brainwashing still seems relevant.
Was never able to get through his fiction.
>Dude sex magick LMAO
I like RAW a lot. He introduced me to Korzybski in a comfy Youtube talk:

>j*yce lover
>unironically talks about crowley
He's a mess.

To be fair, he got that from Leary.
Very little of Wilson's material is original, but he was truly a master synthesist. Reading him will always lead you on to obscure and fascinating lines of research.

Would it be fair to say that Prometheus Rising is the definitive go to book on Leary's 8 circuit theory?
Is there a book by Leary that covers it?
i liked his notion of us all being trapped in our own views of reality.. but having said that, i felt he was trapped in the sixties reality-tunnel and of viewing the brain as made of "circuits".
