How does everyone feel about 1Q84?
Never read it.
No intention of reading it.
I'm guessing it's shit.
IQ170 here. Don't read it. Trust me.
I'm reading it now. I nearly end the first book. It is very comfy
I loved it. Very cosy.
Murakami is my #2 comfy book author.
#1 is Donna Tartt.
Although, I must admit, I prefer the Windup Bird Chronicle.

Perfect SAT scoring CIA agent here
Don't read it. It's shit.

The last half of the book was better. I don't think it helps that he switches characters each fucking chapter
It's oqay for peeple with 84 iq or less. Dont read unless your retard haha.

Haha XD lmao :_)

Comfy and such, but its typical Murakami: right out of his ass, makes no sense (doesn't MEAN anything) and doesn't tie or explain shit in the whole book. Other than that, it's easy to read and some people like his style
Better be reading that shit than watching TV
I've also read Colourless from him, same deal: explaining his fantastic elements and making sense is not for him

>Murakami makes no sense
He usually does. Haven't read 1Q84 yet, but all the books with surrealist elements that I've read by him make sense; for example, Wind-Up Bird is just a metaphor on depression.

Ok I recognise the possibility that everything of his means something and I just dont get it, no problem
Pretty decent.
