I don't see that many videos of people talking, and when they do show up they're usually pretty novel. I think it's an amazing source of information for providing interesting bigger picture perspectives and novel ideas, I don't know what you're talking about. That's just me though, and I did make this thread to get people's opinions. I just want people who actually know what they're talking about.

Pop culture that tries its best to masquerade itself as better than TED talk, by inviting big name honcho intellectuals and celebrities.

Nothing wrong with it, but you're better off the dead people when it comes to construing your own opinions and perspectives.
