I just read some summaries of the essays in consider the Lobster and it sounds boring af.

Hamlet is short and would probably enhance some of your enjoyment of IJ. It's nowhere near The Odyssey & Ulysses level, but if you're really intent on getting the most out of IJ that would be good. Supposedly Brothers Karamazov is related too but I haven't read that so I don't really know

Haven't read Lobster. Brief Interviews was hit or miss, for me, with most of the good stuff being towards the end. Those good stories are pretty damn good, I'd say it's worth it.

You've already read way more DFW than a lot of people who jumped into IJ so I would say at this point to just go for it.
