Can anyone rec me some books by female authors that are not insanely boring? I have been disappointed with every one that I've tried.

It's just boring to you because you hate her, truly elongated pacing, I think. Drop the book if you hate it so much, its a waist of time.

If you want a good contemporary book by a well known female writer, read The Fault in Our Stars by Cuck Green

Or her less loved, Paper Frowns
