All the best kind of dogs don't have droopy ears so it follows that you shouldn't dog ear your books

It's ok if you dog-ear used paperback books. I use it to mark important parts of books, memorable quotes etc.

I don't have anything against it, but I have a drawer full of bookmarks and when I finish a book the bookmark goes back in the drawer anyway, so it kind of seems pointless. I'd just be doing it to do it.
