Skill is Technical so like a copywriter.

Talent is just how gifted one is at a skill.

talent is a meme. it only needs the right opportunities early on to push you into the right direction and the satisfacion from being better than your peers in a area will keep you motivated enough to get even better. that obviously doesn't apply to genuine autists with savant syndrome. but that usually comes with it's own set of disadvantages.

Of all subjects, writing is one of the most talent based. That and composition. Yes, it takes hard work to make a great work, but you need talent to be able to make it in the first place. Artistic sense and creativity is innate for the most part. If you are innately talentless, no amount of hard work can make up for it. Look at DFW for a prime example of this. Innately talentless and not artistic (more AUtistic), he tried ridiculously hard to create a artistic masterpiece (Infinite Jest), trying to make up for his lack of aesthetic sense with random quirky facts and structural games, but ultimately peaked at mediocrity, albeit a bloated and frantic mediocrity. Don't be a DFW, it's just ridiculously embarrassing.
