I see other's recommending Anti-Oedippus, if you want a completely different view, check out BF Skinner "Beyond Freedom and Dignity". Its an attempt to wrestle with philosophical notions of free will from the perspective of behavior psychology, that is a completely mechanistic view of human behavior as stimuli/response.

It's got big flaws, but it's probably the most important text on the topic for anyone considering Absolute Materialism, which is one extreme of thinking anyway.

I've been in contact with the guy running Gene Ray's facebook page. Gene Ray was hospitalized over a year ago, sounds like he's done writing, possibly completely senile.
