well no since it is the mark of a true 21st century intellectual to argue theory with no basis in reality. in fact I often make up facts that I know to be the opposite of the truth to enable my sophistry to reach heights never before dreamed of.

Yes. I tend to try to immerse myself in stuff before writing about it. Mainly because I write about what I'm interested in, so I immerse myself in it anyway.
