Greek mythology is the most overrated mythology. Norse Mythology is just too often poorly represented in popular media.

Neil Gaiman is good at writing. This book is enjoyable. This book is easy to read. It's something to just sit down and enjoy without having to think too hard.

This. Norse mythology is actually really interesting, and I'm a massive Norse-hater. It's just badly done in literally everything ever.

Greek mythology is kinda the opposite. It's mediocre but it's been used in a lot of good things.

Jewish mythology is the best though.

Also, If you find Norse stuff interesting, you might like to look into William Morris. He was an Old Norse translator and fantasy author from the 1870s-90s. A lot of his stuff has Norse influence and it is pretty good.
