How do the other arts view literature? How do actors, dancers, painters, sculptures, etc., view literature compared to their own respective art?

tfw you manage to get several musicians to admit that music is the lowest form of art through dialectic arguments

They probably think writers are typically pretentious asses.

Probably the same as how non-STEM view STEM: with seething envy and festering regret at their own incompetence.

The funny thing about other artists is that the only way they ever feel truly acknowledged for their work is when a writer describes how their work is profound.

They're literally so subordinated that they depend on the recognition of writers to have any meaning in the world

i'm a musician, albeit a bad one.
i think that about 9/10 artists in any field. people generally try too hard to impress, and come out with some tacky bullshit with no substance or individuality.
literature in itself is something that i have a hell of a lot of respect for.
