I mean, Finland isn't technically part of Scandinavia, but I enjoyed The Kalevala. Some chapters were pretty dull, but for the most part it was quite a gem.

Second all of these, especially Fogelström. The first book in his City-series is one of the best things I've ever read.
I'd also recommend Pär Lagerkvist. The Dwarf has gotten some attention on /lit/ but deserves more. I'm about to read Barabbas soon and have high expectations for it.
