I am a fan of the flowery and perfume aesthetic (Oscar Wilde, Proust), and I am 100% straight, what is wrong with me? Is it misplaced hormones? Or just my French nationality? (not actually French by the way, born in Brazil and raised in Britain)

Anyone like that so I can't feel lonely/ any books for that feel?

That's fine. It's not in fashion at the moment, but it probably will be once again one day.

Just like how some people like the ornateness of baroque music. It isn't in fashion now, but one day it might be again.

Similarly, some people like doilies under their fine porcelain tea cups, others would rather have a minimalist and rugged mug on a grubby pine coffee table, but doilies might come back in one day.

Thanks for understanding.

So, was your grandfather a Nazi?

Does Yamamoto Takato have a following outside of /lit/? I don't see him posted elsewhere.

Don't look too much into anon. I used to be the same way but I pulled back my style after a while when I started cycling because it demanded simple lines.

Look at Joey Ramone. He used to take the train to Manhattan in full drag because the Theater of the Absurd and the New York Dolls where the hot attractions in the city. By the time CBGB became the dominant scene, the whole band wore matching leather and denim outfits influenced by the simplicity of Richard Hell. It also reflected the tone of the music they made, strip rock to the basics and clear the path of all the washed up 60s super stars. Hendrix had a similar shift in style before his death.

You might be homosexual, what do you think of Nabokov?
>>
In all seriousness OP, you're probably feeling inadequate in some hormonal or sex-life area and are misattributing it to your unique aesthetics.

I would suggest fixing your fucked up posture with some Black Bowman videos, because putting your shoulders back can apparently increase your testosterone levels. On top of that, you should definitely gym 3 times a week.

Sounds gay, but if you get your testosterone in order and are eating a proper diet, you'll probably find yourself insanely content with your gay flower perfume shit and won't give a fuck what anyone thinks.

If you just want books though I don't know any fuck you.

My friends love him and I'm the only one who's autistic enough to browse 4chan.

Nothing's wrong with liking traditionally feminine aesthetics, doesn't make you inferior or any less of the man.

Ignore the retards telling you to go to the gym to ""increase your testosterone levels"", literally has nothing to do with that
>>
>>9150084
You misinterpreted because you're a beta male.

You can still like whatever you like and be healthy. Being active and getting the right hormones flowing your body will just make you feel better. It doesn't make you stop liking flowers.

You're the retard promoting complacency.
>>
>>9150011
This post is a fucking doily, desu.
>>
>>9150084
The post you're misquoting literally told OP to not give a fuck about what people may think.
>>
>>9150057
This guy is right though, OP. Your problem isn't liking that "effeminate" fin-de-siècle aesthetic; your problem is you seem to think that it's making you gay: it's not (you were gay all along).
>>
>>9150037
I posted one image once and then saw it reposted dozen times. I think there aren't many boards with aesthetic sensibilities.

No a literal undiagnosed sperg historian/archaeologist, who was also a socialist.

I think I may be a hebephile (girls only), but I hope I am not. It is, however recent, and came with a almost sub-conscious change in the way I see my attraction to women in general.

I am sure I am not that, I never understood the pseudo-Freud thinking of X means you must be gay - it is so backwards at times (I once heard a guy claim that a girl having sexual desire for her brother meant she was a lesbian, because they are attracted to their mirror image)

If you are attracted to only girls (no matter what way), you are straight. If only guys (vice versa), you are homo.

I believe sexuality is something completely different for everybody, because it is intertwined with ones way of thinking and dissecting the world, it is a point were the subjective becomes objective and the environmental exposure can make anything from a small to big difference (hence the Greeks); for me at least, there is femininity in my heterosexuality, since a specific-appreciation in female feminity and feebleness is what gets me.

Two people can be attracted to the same woman such different ways, hence "pretty" and "handsome" women.

It just goes to show the power and importance of philosophy, for absolutely everything, as it can (almost literally) change the world we live in.

------------------------------------------------------

As for Nabokov, I got a boner for reading Lolita (see above).

The hormone thing was a joke.
>>
>>9150084
Thank you for understanding, I guess we are all different.

If it were someone else, I guess it would be a sign of gayness - but I associate it with the lingerie of a perfumed, pale, young French woman.

Maybe it is just Don Quixoteness, and a hatred for the aesthetic of my times.
>>
>>9150251
People here take jokes too seriously. It isn't, in fact it's upping my hormonal obsession with women and lesbianism.

I have been rejected so much, and had been drowned in so much yuri, that I am scared of becoming a cuckhold. God help me.

Part of me wants to have a women loving me in a way that would be likeas if she loved a women, because the idea of lesbian purity has been so wired in my brain by anime that it's fucking me up.
>>

Thanks for it's name, by the way.
