1984 vs Brave New World and why

My diary desu. Because it is better.
>>9134066
Brave new world is lame. 1984 at least feels more believable.
Also
>hurt during naming all my characters after historic figures, aren't I so clever since this world has abolished history.

They're different. And only comparable as dystopianist.
If you want to know what's more relevant to our current world direction, it's Brave New World, not 1984.

Clockwork Orange

Brave New World
fuck you thats why

1984 is better aesthetically. BNW has more philosophical depth. Orwell thinks a bit too black-and-white. Huxley gets masturbatory at times. They're both excellent, but your preference will be determined by whether you're interested in style or substance.

Time has proven them both right.

Even that allegory is shit, since our world is ruled by chaos, while both of those books are predicated upon control. They are failed prophecies.
I cannot understand why the lunatic fringe assigns so much competence to the media, jews, the government, aliens with mind control devices. Massive conspiracies are immensely hard to pull off, and everyone wants to sell their story. If you want an apt novel about how the world worked, and need to use a shitty summer reading novel, try Catch 22
