I'd like to think that's not the whole point which is why I'm asking (the post-capitalist post above was shitposting). To some extent I think there's critique of the media and maybe even the parents of victims parading photos of their dead children around mixed into all this self-degradation and wallowing, plus this redefining of what makes something "pornography". I don't think shocking content is all there is to it, but it's certainly difficult material.

I'd actually be interested in hearing any in-depth thoughts you or anyone else has on the work because the few threads I've seen in the past are generally a split between "he's a genius" and "he's a pedophile, fuck him" with little to no elaboration.
