What are your thoughts on Milton Friedman?
Fuck capitalism

A nonentity, means absolutely nothing to me.

Given that the failure rate of the implementation of his system of thought is only exceeded by the failure rate of communism, I'd say he's a gargantuan faggot.

>In his 1962 book Capitalism and Freedom, Friedman advocated policies such as a volunteer military, freely floating exchange rates, abolition of medical licenses, a negative income tax, and school vouchers.
And where these policies were coherently implemented for the long periods of time?

The biggest sellout you can imagine in Economy. He's probably burning in Hell as I'm typing this.

>in 1962 Milton Freedman cooked a nice bowl of shit soup
>most of his contemporaries smelled the shit from afar and stayed away from it
>how could they even judge without eating ladlefuls of shit soup for long periods of time?
i prefer my economists... baked

He wrote books for the public and masses.
His more theoretical and economical minded books where more difficult and laid out some problems that he didn't include in his mass-produced trash.
Don't blame him, blame the uneducated masses.
I ultimately disagree with his conclusions.
An emissary of Satan.

I sincerely believe he was a crypto-communism.
You see, Marx himself said that one of the conditions for the achievement of communism was the full development of capitalism, its destruction of every single traditional institution and custom. Political developments in the 20th century put a stop to that, both social democracy and christian democracy put political, economical and moral restraints on capitalism which precluded it's full potential and made communism as predicted by Marx impossible.
Milton Friedman was a Jew born in Brooklyn, he was certainly raised in a radical atmosphere, most of his friends and colleagues were commies or assorted radicals. It's impossible to come out of this unscathed, he was certainly sympathetic to communism, and saw as his mission to destroy the welfare state, just as his ethnic cousins destroyed the moral restraints on capitalism, so that this unrestrained capitalism could create the class polarization and immiseration and hasten the communist revolution.
Sowell is better desu

That's funny, I've always kinda believed that Marx was a crypto-capitalist. He hijacked the Left and managed to convince a great many that the solution to capitalism was more capitalism.
>>9108618
In other words, "the failure rate of the implementation of his system of thought is only exceeded by the failure rate of communism" is bullshit? Good to know.
