It's nowhere near Shakespeare's quality, obviously. It has a couple decent jokes that are beaten into the ground. And yes, it's reddit-tier.

Thank you for the advice. I think I'll try out one of the original trilogy since I didn't like the movies that much anyways. I enjoy both SW and Shakespeare a lot so it might be fun. I never expected it to be anywhere as good as Shakespeare, worse comes to worst I just give it to my sister, she likes reddit and "geek culture".

The audio-book is honestly pretty funny. It's got a full cast with the actors doing impressions of the characters with cheesy star wars sound effects.
