I'm just saying, I've never met anyone who thinks Pollock is a hack who could also name some paintings by say Giotto or Masaccio. And it's not like those guys are obscure. Renaissance is too early for me. Tbh I don't mind art From the "50s and 60s" either as long as it's representational. To be even more honest I don't mind non-representational art either I just have a hard time telling the difference between amateurs and professionals.
