There's a difference between free trade agreements/deregulation of the domestic economy, and an imperial foreign policy. Obviously they are connected and reinforce each other (foreign policy helps US businesses and the military industrial complex etc.), but I don't think the only way to maintain a decent standard of living is to be a hegemonic superpower.

The entirety of the rights ideology is a rehashing of centuries old philosophies and moral theory. There is quite literally nothing that the right has suggested in the past 49 years that could in anyway be considered intellectual progress.

Post Modernism and leftism can only be criticized becquse it is the idealistic babbling of the privilege. But the safety to make pointed attacks at metaphysics from a safe material distance is the end goal of human thought. A more honest look at the contradictory nature of applied politically charged post structuralism is an extension of like real thought.
