It's not like your standard modern novel—more like a Saturday morning cartoon (but, you know, a classic of literature).

The second half of Part 1 has some padding where people he meets start telling their stories, but the first half of Part 1 and all of Part 2 are fucking gold and you should just read the damn thing. So many adventures and hijinks.
