any philosophy. I hate philosophy. Reading what other people think? Fuck you. I'm not even kidding.
As far as I'm concerned, Philosophy is about the discovery about life. Reading about it doesn't do anything. You're not discovering life.

me, probably. approaching some oeuvres from a direction other than straight forwardy can break brains. the science passages killed me whereas Vs flights were easier to like, personally, because people are more fun than rockets to me

Catcher in The Rye
Book of Disquiet.
Although I read a Dutch translation, so it could very well be that the language doesn't lend itself towards Portuguese. Maybe the translator was just shitty.

Fahrenheit 451. So fucking gay.
Feel like /lit/ isn't into them, but people I know love Angela Carter and Kelly Link, and I find their prose to be utter shit.
IJ is aight but overrated.
Just tried to get through Pale Fire, thought it was a dry, soulless turd.

I wouldn't say I hated it, but I didn't care much for it. I dropped when I was first reading it back when I was 13ish. Recently decided to give it another chance (27 now) and I finished this time, but still didn't think too highly of it.
I do really like the short story that it grew out of, The Pedestrian. I even use it in the high school English classes I now teach.
