This is perhaps one of the most beautiful things I have ever read.
What does /lit/ think of Calvino?
so patrician that no one on this board has read him

I read and enjoyed if on a winters night
Some people around here hate that book though
Dunno why
If on a Winter's Night... - dogshit, 1/10
Invisible Cities - 5/10
Baron in the Trees - 7/10
Folktales - comfy/10

to really engage with true authenticity, I usual only read my own scribblings, notated using only my own shit after drinking to the point of blacking out to ensure that my conscious experience of said scribblings are fresh and new
Glad you enjoyed my new direction with this post xox

Calvino is top tier but everyone on lit knows this. He is not discussed often but appears voted highly in top whatever lists.
I saw an exhibit at Mass MoCa a few years back "inspired" or w/e by Invisible Cities. It was rather good.
