i read it in juvenile prison at 15. the guy asked what my favorite was, not the badge i wear to impress cucks like yourself.
Infinite Jest tobehonest. Have never been that absorbed by a book. Thinking about it makes me want to get back into reading.
>>9045671
why did you go to prison anon?
>>9045684
aggravated battery on a peace officer.
went after him with a sword in fury, he should have shot me, really.

In order to have a favorite book you need to have read more than one book
No wonder you were in juvenile prison you fucking untermensch, stop wasting your time on 4chan and go finish highschool you violent nigger.
>>9045690

>untermensch
>nigger
>implying nigs are mensch at all
This is how I know you are the pleb anon. On the other hand you are the one acting like a bitch because some anon had trouble with the law on his teens while you were busy fapping to Ben 10 porn and playing runescape/wow like every other autist on this website. Take a load of pills and choke on them to death.

Unironically the Confederacy of dunces. I read it once each lustrum so I can forget it and enjoy it again.
This book had an epiphanic effect on me that I've never experienced before or since. Many years after reading it I still think about it almost daily. It convincingly destroyed the fedora materialist/atheist mentality that was so deeply rooted in my experience, and in retrospect it was probably the only thing that could have reached me.

>Trojan War Trilogy
But the first part of the cycle is missing/incomplete....

Unironically Hogfather. Pratchett is a legitimately good author, and even though his work isn't canon-tier, it's still engaging, insightful, and comfy.

What's the trojan war trilogy?
Infinite Jest tbqh
it made me feel things that nothing else has made me come close to feeling

iliad, odyssey and aeneid?

There is an epic before the Illiad that chronicles the events that would cause the war.
...Poets Are Just Kids Who Didn't Make It
God. I loved that book.
In reality, It was just a Catcher In The Rye rip off - and it wasn't that good. But it brings me to a special place.
Ada. Tbqh it wins by a lot

A Wizard of Earthsea. I read this novel at the precise time a young man should. I have revisited the series many times since and I still garner the same sense of humanity and power from it. It could only ever be this novel
Oblomov.
I haven't reacted emotionally to any book like I did to Oblomov. Made me laugh, made me cry, yadda yadda, now its my all time fav
