The situation we are born into isn't free choice, our parenting and upbringing isn't free choice, genetic limitations on our self-actualisation aren't free choice.

Life isn't "fair" by man-made standards but that's the point of the fall, now we have the knowledge of good and evil, we may find ourself disagreeing and not fully understanding God.

People are far too attached to free will as a concept. Even if it doesn't exist, it doesn't change our lives in any dramatic sense because we still live with the illusion of it. Solid objects are an illusion too, just empty space. We still have to interact with them as if they are solid.
