I heard Nabanokov's translations are not very good and are hard to read. Any others you guys recommend?
Also, best Fathers and Sons translation?

I read the Penguin classics version. Those are pretty much all I read unless you can get your hands on a Volokhonsky and Pevear translation.

Are the Penguin translations any good?
Are there P&V translations for Hero and Sons?
Oxfords are solid, only go with penguin as last resort.
Also if you really care

Awesome, thank you.

P&V translations tend to be a bit on the dry side - they themselves admitted to not being that good in translating.

I felt that way a little bit with Demons and Brothers Karazomov. I feel like I'm just dumb for not adequately how the Russian flows. Also the footnotes in Demons can get pretty obnoxious but I guess thats just because it has a lot of cultural political references.
