It's a long conversation between a translator, a man, a wife, and a teenage daughter. It's a stream of consciousness so it delves into strange diatribes on sexuality.

I've only been reading random pages until tonight. One section he goes off on a whole tangent about correctly identifying 'mushroom heads' as infected or satisfying. Tries to breakdown words in order to discuss their meaning. Lot of esotericism and Freudian thoughts underpinning the work but I'm out of my depth because I can't access a lot of the Edgar Allen Poe references he's making.
