So, when did you realise that you wanted to become a writer?
For me it was Hank Moody. When I saw Californication I fucking fell in love with the literary lifestyle. It's like I was born for it. Ever since I finished watching the show, I write and drink and fuck and smoke everyday like crazy, because I know that sooner or later I will become one of the greats. Like Hank, but in real life.

For me it was when I saw Will Ferrell's hilarious-but-emotionally-resonating Stranger Than Fiction. I realized that even a boring everyday life can be powerful literary stuff if you're a good writer!
